Full-fledged offline access
Make use of the advantages of a fully-functional program solution developed specifically for large amounts of tasks and a number of projects. Import tasks from Microsoft Excel or the clipboard, easily form a hierarchical task structure using drag-and-drop, work with all task attributes, review the history of task notes and much more. All actions are made offline until you decide to send the changes to the Project Server.
Bottom-up planning
Ability to easily add and delete assignments, as well as edit all task attributes, allowing team members to participate in corporate planning.
Work with a number of projects
The tasks for each project are displayed in a separate tab, allowing you to work efficiently with tasks for several projects, unlike Microsoft Project Web Access and the Microsoft Office Project Add-In for Outlook, which allow only viewing tasks as a single list for all projects.
View project task hierarchy
Tree view of tasks makes it significantly easier to work with a large project, since it is possible to focus on the necessary tasks while hiding everything else.
MyTasker EPM supports automatic updating of the '% Complete' field for overall tasks.
Analysis of made changes
All changes made while working on a project are made locally, and then synchronization is performed with Microsoft Project Server.
Using MyTasker EMP, you can analyze, edit and undo the changes you have made, which is very useful for large projects.
Monitor task status
MyTasker EPM offers convenient, rich indication of the status of tasks when working offline on a project: 'added', 'deleted', 'modified', 'awaiting approval', 'declined', 'note'.
An especially useful feature is identifying tasks awaiting approval by the project manager.
Lightweight and portable
MyTasker EPM is a very small program which is not demanding on a computer's configuration. Nor does it require additional installed software (such as Java, .NET or Microsoft Office). You can install the program on a flash drive and use it wherever you feel like.
Affordability
By choosing MyTasker EPM as an alternative to the Microsoft Office Project Add-In for Outlook, you save on Microsoft Outlook licenses.
Here is an example of calculating the licensing costs for five team members.
Single-user license, Microsoft Office Outlook 2010:
$139.99 (Source: http://store.microsoft.com)
Cost of 5 licenses, Microsoft Office Outlook 2010: $139.99 x 5 =
$699.5
Cost of 5 licenses, Organasis MyTasker EPM (with volume discounts): $29.95 x 5 =
$149.75
In total you save: $549.75
